Data retention
How long VisibleMax keeps account, scan, and report data while you use the product.
Updated 2026-08-06
VisibleMax stores the minimum operational data needed to run scans, show history, bill plans, and improve the product. Retention depends on whether the data is account identity or scan/report artifacts.
Account data
- Account and workspace profile data are retained while your account is active.
- This typically includes authentication identifiers, email, workspace membership, project URLs you connect, and billing linkage needed to serve the product.
- Closing or deleting an account ends active retention subject to legal, security, and billing requirements described in our privacy policy.
Scan and report data
- Crawl snapshots, probe results, scores, findings, and generated studio assets are retained for product use — history, monitoring, comparisons, and support.
- Retention length can vary by plan history limits and operational needs (for example keeping enough history to show progress).
- We may aggregate or de-identify telemetry to operate and improve VisibleMax.
Processors that may hold related data
- Supabase — authentication and application database.
- Polar — payments, invoices, and customer portal records.
- Vercel / Trigger.dev — ephemeral runtime logs and job execution metadata.
- AI provider APIs — prompt/response payloads sent during probes and analysis under each vendor’s terms.
