Refund Policy
How trials, cancellations, and refunds work for VisibleMax Pro Early Adopter — including Polar billing and the rule that purchases are non-refundable after the free trial.
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These pages are provided for transparency and operational clarity. They are not legal advice. VisibleMax is not yet legally incorporated; entity name, registered address, and governing law must be updated after incorporation and reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on these policies for commercial launch, regulatory filings, or customer contracts.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains billing for VisibleMax Pro Early Adopter, the 7-day free trial, and when charges may or may not be refunded. Free plan usage has no charge and therefore no refund.
Core rule: Cancel during the 7-day free trial at no charge. After the trial expires and the annual subscription begins, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
VisibleMax is not yet legally incorporated. After incorporation, this Policy will be updated with the registered entity name and address. Placeholder: [PLACEHOLDER — update after incorporation: registered legal entity name, registered address, and governing law / venue].
We do not offer Enterprise plans or custom refund schedules at launch. All billing support goes through [email protected].
2. Merchant of record and payment processor
Paid subscriptions — including VisibleMax Pro Early Adopter ($50/year) — are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record / payment processor for applicable purchases and trials. Charges, cancellations, and any refunds required by law are handled through Polar back to the original payment method when possible. Timing depends on Polar and your payment provider (typically several business days after approval).
3. Seven-day free trial
Pro Early Adopter includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial:
- You can evaluate Pro features without paying the annual fee, subject to Polar collecting payment method details at checkout as required to start the trial.
- If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged for the annual subscription.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Polar will charge the annual subscription ($50/year) and Pro access continues under the paid term.
It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial expires if you do not want to be charged. Cancel through the Polar customer portal / billing flow linked from your account where available, or email [email protected] from your account email with enough time for us to process cancellation before the trial ends.
4. No refunds after the free trial expires
After the 7-day free trial expires and the annual subscription charge is processed, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not offer a 14-day or other post-purchase refund window.
In particular, the following typically do not qualify for a refund:
- Requests made after the trial has ended and the annual fee has been charged
- Partial refunds for unused months of an annual plan
- Dissatisfaction based solely on AI platforms not mentioning your brand — VisibleMax does not guarantee AI mentions (see Terms of Service and AI Transparency)
- Charges for taxes, currency conversion fees, or third-party bank fees that are outside our control
- Change of mind after the trial period when Pro features were available for evaluation
5. Cancellations vs. refunds
Cancel during trial: stops the upcoming annual charge; no refund is needed because no subscription fee was charged.
Cancel after trial / after paid annual term begins: stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid annual period. You typically retain access until the end of the already-paid term, subject to product behavior and Polar status.
6. How to cancel or ask about billing
- Prefer the Polar billing / customer portal linked from your VisibleMax account when available.
- Or email [email protected] with the subject line "Cancel subscription" or "Billing question".
- Include: account email, approximate signup or trial start date, Polar receipt or order reference if available, and what you need (cancel trial, stop renewal, or a billing clarification).
For trial cancellations, contact us as early as possible before the trial end date so we can confirm Polar has stopped the upcoming charge.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact [email protected] before filing a payment dispute or chargeback so we can help resolve the issue (for example, confirming a trial cancellation). Chargebacks filed without contacting us may result in suspension of the account pending investigation.
8. Free plan
The Free plan (one project and one lifetime completed ai visibility scan, with a core score, top findings, free tools, and a public shareable report.) has no subscription fee. There is nothing to refund for free usage. Limits and features of the Free plan may change over time as described on Pricing.
9. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws (including cooling-off or withdrawal rights in some jurisdictions). If such rights apply and conflict with this Policy, those rights prevail. Where law requires a refund, we will process it through Polar.
10. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time (including after incorporation). The version in effect at the time of your trial start or purchase generally governs that transaction, except where a change is required by law.
