AI Transparency
VisibleMax uses artificial intelligence to help you understand and improve how AI assistants represent your brand. This page explains what that means in practice.
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These pages are provided for transparency and operational clarity. They are not legal advice. VisibleMax is not yet legally incorporated; entity name, registered address, and governing law must be updated after incorporation and reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on these policies for commercial launch, regulatory filings, or customer contracts.
1. Purpose of this page
Customers deserve a clear explanation of where AI is used in VisibleMax, which providers we use, what AI can and cannot do, and who is responsible for decisions made with AI-assisted outputs. This statement supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
VisibleMax is the product operating name. We are not yet legally incorporated; entity details will be updated after formation. Placeholder: [PLACEHOLDER — update after incorporation: registered legal entity name, registered address, and governing law / venue].
2. Customer data is never used to train AI models
VisibleMax does not use customer data to train AI models.
VisibleMax does not use customer data to train AI models. Customer site content and account data may be processed by third-party AI providers solely to deliver product features (analysis, probing, and asset generation).
That commitment covers account data, site content you authorize us to crawl, scan results, probe prompts and responses stored in your account, Content Studio drafts, and support correspondence. We process this information to deliver VisibleMax features — not to build or fine-tune foundation models on your customer data, and not to sell your customer data for unrelated model training.
When we call third-party AI APIs to deliver a feature, providers process prompt and context traffic under their own terms. We use those APIs for inference / product delivery. We do not grant VisibleMax (or authorize providers through our product configuration) to train general models on your customer data. See also our Privacy Policy.
3. How VisibleMax uses AI
Depending on your Free or Pro plan, AI may be used for:
3.1 Crawl and content analysis
After we fetch pages you authorize, models may help summarize content, extract entities, identify gaps (for example missing FAQ or schema signals), and produce structured findings tied to evidence from your site.
3.2 Probe prompts and assistant checks
VisibleMax can send buyer-style prompts to third-party AI assistants / LLM APIs to observe whether your brand is mentioned, how you are described, and which sources are cited. Probe design, sampling, and interpretation are product features — not deterministic audits of an entire model's behavior.
3.3 Scores and estimates
Visibility scores and related indicators are estimates based on the probes and heuristics we run. They are directional decision aids, not guarantees of future AI answers, rankings, traffic, or revenue.
3.4 Content and asset generation
The Service may draft assets such as FAQ copy, schema markup suggestions, llms.txt drafts, implementation notes, or weekly plan tasks (Pro). These drafts are starting points for human review.
3.5 Product operations
We may use AI internally to classify errors or assist support quality — still without using your customer data to train AI models, and without selling confidential customer data for unrelated advertising.
4. Third-party model providers
VisibleMax does not operate a single in-house foundation model for all features. Analysis and probing rely on third-party LLM providers. At launch, providers may include:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT)
- Anthropic (Claude)
- Google (Gemini)
- Perplexity
- xAI (Grok)
- DeepSeek
Short labels used in product UI may include: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek. Exact provider routing can depend on configuration, availability, region, and product roadmap. Provider availability can change. When we send prompts to a provider, that provider processes the prompt content under its own terms and data practices — for delivering the requested inference, not for VisibleMax training models on your customer data.
5. Human oversight
VisibleMax is designed as a human-in-the-loop product:
- Customers decide which sites and prompts to analyze
- Findings and drafts are presented for review before publication
- Our team may review aggregated product behavior and support cases to improve quality and safety — without training AI models on customer data
Automated outputs should not be treated as final legal, medical, financial, or compliance advice.
6. Limitations (read carefully)
- No guarantee of AI mentions. We cannot control how third-party assistants answer questions tomorrow, or whether they cite your site.
- Sampling bias. Probes cover selected prompts and moments in time; results may not generalize to all queries or users.
- Hallucinations and errors. Models can invent facts, misattribute sources, or miss important context.
- Site access limits. Robots rules, auth walls, bot protection, and network errors can reduce crawl completeness.
- Competitive volatility. Competitors, platforms, and retrieval systems change constantly; scores can move without any action on your part.
7. Launch scope (what AI features are not)
At launch, VisibleMax does not include Enterprise AI contracts, team / multi-seat collaboration, MCP integrations, or a Chrome extension. AI features described here apply to the Free lifetime scan and VisibleMax Pro Early Adopter product only.
8. Your responsibilities
- Only submit URLs and content you are authorized to have processed
- Review generated assets for accuracy, brand voice, and legal compliance before publishing
- Do not represent VisibleMax scores as certified audits or guarantees
- Comply with third-party platform terms applicable to your use of their services
- Maintain appropriate human review for customer-facing claims you make based on VisibleMax outputs
- Do not submit secrets or regulated data that are not required for AI visibility analysis
9. Safety and prohibited uses
Do not use VisibleMax AI features to generate or distribute unlawful content, to harass individuals, to evade platform security, or to scrape systems you do not own or control without authorization. Violations may result in suspension under our Terms of Service.
10. Changes to AI features
Models, prompts, scoring methods, and provider mix evolve. We may change AI features to improve quality, reduce cost, meet provider requirements, or address safety issues. Our commitment that customer data is not used to train AI models remains unless we update this page and the Privacy Policy with clear notice. Material changes to data handling will be reflected here and/or in the Privacy Policy.
