Create an account

Sign up with email or Google (when available), verify, log in, and understand your Free workspace.

Updated 2026-08-06

Your VisibleMax account owns a workspace — the container for projects, scans, entitlements, and billing. Free includes everything you need for one first completed scan. You do not need a credit card to start.

  1. 1

    Open signup

Go to https://visiblemax.site/signup. If you already have an account, use login from the same auth flow and continue to the app.

  2. 2

    Choose email or Google

Create an account with email and password, or use Google when that provider is enabled on the site. Google sign-in availability depends on current auth configuration — if you do not see it, use email.

  3. 3

    Verify your email when prompted

Email signup typically requires verification before full access. Check inbox and spam for the confirmation message. Unverified sessions may be limited until you complete this step.

  4. 4

    Land in the app

After auth succeeds you are routed into /app (or onboarding if you have not connected a site yet). That workspace is yours for Free plan limits until you upgrade.

Log in later

Return via the site’s login entry (linked from marketing pages and the app). Use the same method you used at signup. If you signed up with Google, continue with Google; mixing methods for the same email can create confusion if providers are not linked.

  • Forgot password flows are available for email accounts — follow the reset link from the login screen.
  • After login you resume in /app with the same workspace entitlements.
  • Session cookies are required for protected app routes; private browsing may require re-auth more often.

What a workspace is

A workspace holds your plan entitlements (Free vs Pro), projects, scan history, and billing customer linkage to Polar. On Free you get one project. Creating additional projects requires upgrading when you hit the project cap.

Workspace vs project

ConceptWhat it isFree limit
WorkspaceAccount container for plan, billing, and membersOne Free workspace per account
ProjectA website URL you scan and improve1 project
Completed scanA finished crawl → analyze → probe run1 lifetime on Free

What Free includes

  • 1 project — one primary site URL to operate on.
  • 1 lifetime completed scan — your first full AI visibility report.
  • Top findings only — a gated subset of recommendations and weaknesses; full sets unlock on Pro.
  • Core score and summary — structural readiness score plus narrative summary.
  • Free utility tools at /tools — usable without auth for quick checks.
  • Public shareable report at /r/[slug] after the scan completes.

What to do next

  1. Complete onboarding prompts if shown — they exist to collect your site URL cleanly.
  2. Connect a public HTTPS website (Connect a website).
  3. Start the first scan when the project is ready (First scan).

Edge cases

  • Shared access — launch workspaces are owner-centric; coordinate via a shared owner account if more than one person needs access.
  • Wrong email at signup — you may need a new account or support help to recover access; contact [email protected].
  • Already paid elsewhere — billing is via Polar only. There is no Stripe customer portal for VisibleMax subscriptions.

Is a credit card required?

No. Free signup and your first completed scan do not require payment. You only enter payment details when starting VisibleMax Pro Early Adopter (7-day free trial, then $50/year) through Polar checkout.

Can I change my email later?

Account email changes depend on auth provider rules. If you are blocked, email [email protected] from the address on the account with the correction you need.

I signed up but do not see Google as an option

Google may be temporarily unavailable or not enabled in the current environment. Use email signup — product access is the same once verified.

Where is my data stored after signup?

Account, workspace, and scan artifacts are stored in VisibleMax’s application database and related infrastructure. See Reference → Privacy and Security in the docs for retention and practice summaries, and the legal pages for formal policies.
