Complete Polar checkout
Continue to Polar hosted checkout. Guests can check out without an account first, then create/sign in and claim at
/checkout/complete. Signed-in users bind checkout to their workspace. - 3
Wait for entitlement sync
After Polar confirms the trial, entitlements sync into your workspace. Refresh billing settings if Pro features are not visible yet.
Polar customer portal
Authenticated users with a Polar customer can open the portal from billing settings (Manage in Polar / portal route). Use the portal to update payment methods and view invoices. Cancel the trial or subscription from billing settings in VisibleMax.
- Keep the billing email reachable — receipts and renewal notices go there.
- If checkout succeeded but the app still shows locked, wait briefly for webhook sync, then refresh. Persistent mismatches: email [email protected].
- Unknown or misconfigured products never silently grant Pro — failed mapping stays locked for safety.
Cancel
Cancel from Billing in workspace settings (Cancel trial / Cancel subscription). That asks Polar to stop the next charge (cancel_at_period_end). Cancel during the 7-day free trial and you keep full access until day 7 with no charge. After the trial ends and the annual subscription begins, cancellation typically continues access through the paid period end, then entitlements end (there is no Free plan to fall back to). The Polar customer portal remains available for cards and invoices.
Refunds
Cancel during the 7-day free trial at no charge (access continues until day 7). After the trial expires and the annual subscription begins, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. Why Polar instead of Stripe?
VisibleMax uses Polar for hosted checkout, customer portal, and subscription webhooks. Use in-app billing links — do not look for a Stripe customer portal for VisibleMax.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
Yes. A payment method is required before the trial starts. You are not charged during the 7-day free trial.
What is the free trial?
Pro Early Adopter includes a 7-day free trial. Cancel from workspace billing during the trial and you keep access until day 7 with no charge. After day 7, the $50/year subscription begins automatically unless cancelled — see /legal/refund.
Is there a Free plan?
No. One public subscription only. Utility tools at /tools remain free without an account.
Is Early Adopter pricing locked in?
Early Adopter is the launch public SKU at $50/year after the trial. Future list prices may differ for new customers; your active Polar subscription terms govern renewals.
Can I pay monthly?
The public launch offer is annual Early Adopter Pro ($50/year after trial). If a monthly SKU appears in checkout for your account, it will be labeled explicitly — otherwise assume $50/year.
Checkout succeeded but features are still gated
Entitlements sync from Polar after trial or payment confirmation. If you used guest checkout, finish claim at /checkout/complete. Refresh billing, wait a short interval, then retry. If still locked, contact [email protected] with the workspace email and approximate checkout time.
Does VisibleMax train AI on my data?
No. VisibleMax does not use customer data to train AI models. Customer site content and account data may be processed by third-party AI providers solely to deliver product features.
