A curated Markdown file at your site root that summarizes the company and links key pages for AI agents. Useful as an agent map; not a confirmed ranking signal by major search engines.
OAI-SearchBot
OpenAI’s crawler for ChatGPT search indexing. Allow it in robots.txt if you want pages eligible for ChatGPT search citations. Distinct from GPTBot (training).
GPTBot
OpenAI’s crawler used for training data collection. Separate from OAI-SearchBot. Allowing GPTBot does not replace allowing OAI-SearchBot for search visibility.
Claude-SearchBot
Anthropic’s crawler associated with Claude search indexing. Distinct from ClaudeBot (training). Allow Claude-SearchBot for Claude search visibility.
Google-Extended
A robots.txt control token for whether Google may use your content for certain Gemini / AI grounding uses. It is not the same as Googlebot; blocking it does not remove you from Google Search rankings.
Entity clarity
Consistent product naming, category framing, and disambiguation across pages and structured data so machines can tell what you are and who you serve.
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
